Kim Clijsters

I am excited to serve as the Honorary Chair for this year's event! My early experiences on-court shaped my tennis career, and playing at the Junior Orange Bowl in Florida is a memory I will never forget.
As I think back to 1996, I'm reminded of my excitement for the competition. I still appreciate the hospitality. I remember the warmth, not only from the Florida sun, but from the players hailing from across the globe.
Every tournament prepares you for the next one, serving as another step on your journey to a long and successful career. Athletes who have competed here have gone on to become professional champions.
You are the future stars of this great game. Take the court with confidence and pride and cherish your time here in Florida. Most importantly, have fun!
I look forward to the festivities, and I want to extend my best wishes to all of this year's participants.
Good luck, Kim Clijsters
