Holiday Parade & Celebration

Will there be a parade in 2021?

YES, we are having the 2021 Parade.

Do you have any VIP or reserved seating for the parade?

YES! Upgrade your experience and be in the heart of all the action in the Grandstand area.  This location is where marching bands will perform for final judging and the media will cover the parade. Grandstand & VIP Hospitality tickets are available on Eventbrite and include a pre-parade reception with food & drinks for the whole family and the opportunity to mix and mingle with key community leaders and Junior Orange Bowl members and stakeholders.

Where is the best place to watch the parade?

The best viewing is from the elevated Grandstands, where you will be able to see a full view of the parade floats and all units! Grandstand tickets are required to access this area. Purchase tickets on Eventbrite.

Public viewing along the parade route is free and on a first-come-first-served basis, so plan to arrive early to find a good location. Miracle Mile tends to be the most crowded area; Ponce de Leon between Alhambra and Miracle Mile tends to be less congested.

How long do you expect the parade to last?

The parade’s length is determined by its forward motion.  That motion is dependent on the number of entries, performance times, weather, and lack of technical difficulties. While the overall time of the event varies, you can expect the parade to last about 1.5 hours.

I would like to use my new drone to fly over the parade and record it, is that okay?

The use of drones along the parade route during the parade is prohibited.  The Junior Orange Bowl Parade is a 'drone free zone'.

What's the deadline for submitting a parade entry?

November 24, 2021 for all bands and parade units.

Sponsor floats are available on a first-come, first-served basis (limited availability). We strongly advise sponsors to confirm your float early!
